Elipse Foundation and Eedris Abdulkareem Bring Hope and Inspiration to Jos, Plateau State

At Elipse Foundation, we believe in making a real difference — one community at a time. As the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Elipse Group, our mission is to support the most vulnerable and inspire positive change across Nigeria. In a recent outreach initiative, we partnered with none other than Nigerian music icon, Eedris Abdulkareem, for a two-day humanitarian and educational outreach in Jos, Plateau State — and the results were nothing short of extraordinary.

A Warm Welcome and a Shared Vision

The visit began with a warm reception for Eedris Abdulkareem at the airport by the Elipse Foundation team. From there, he was taken to the Elipse Group Headquarters in Jos, where he met with the Group CEO, Mr. Denzel Akogwu, and other key team members. Dressed in Elipse Foundation-branded apparel, including a cardigan and face cap, Eedris expressed his excitement about being part of the impactful mission.

Day One: Healing Hands at Local Hospitals

The first day of the outreach was dedicated to visiting local hospitals and clinics, where the Elipse Foundation team, alongside Eedris, reached out to patients in need. Together, they provided:

Free medical care
Financial support for treatment
Edible items and refreshments

The atmosphere was filled with emotion and gratitude, as patients and hospital staff expressed their heartfelt thanks. Eedris took time to connect with individuals personally, sharing words of comfort and encouragement.

Day Two: Empowering the Next Generation

The second day focused on education and youth empowerment. The team visited several public schools in neighboring communities, distributing:

Educational materials (books, notebooks, pens, pencils)
Goodies and snacks for the children

Eedris Abdulkareem delivered a powerful message to the students, highlighting the importance of education, discipline, and self-belief. He shared stories from his journey and explained how he uses his music to advocate for change — especially in areas like education and infrastructure. He called on the government to take responsibility and invest in public schools and amenities.

Appreciation and Lasting Impact

The children responded with excitement and joy, many of them visibly inspired by the presence and words of the legendary musician. School administrators also expressed deep appreciation to Elipse Foundation and Eedris Abdulkareem for their generosity, encouragement, and commitment to education.

This outreach has left a lasting impression — not only in the hearts of those we served, but in our team as well. It was a reminder that with compassion, collaboration, and commitment, we can create lasting change.
